An established and growing business within the fashion and eCommerce space are looking for a Womenswear Designer to join their expanding team.
The Brand
They are a fast-paced company working across multiple fashion-focused projects, supporting brands across design, product development and wider operations. This role will involve working across a variety of womenswear collections, translating trends and customer insights into commercially successful product, with a focus on quality and trend-led design.
The Role
* Design and develop trend-led, commercially viable womenswear collections
* Translate trend research, customer insights and brand direction into cohesive product ranges
* Create mood boards, CADs, technical drawings and detailed tech packs for development and production
* Conduct ongoing trend analysis, competitor research and seasonal forecasting
* Collaborate closely with product development, merchandising and production teams to ensure alignment on fit, cost, margin and timelines
* Manage the design process from concept through sampling to final production
* Participate in fit sessions and product reviews, refining designs to achieve the desired outcome
* Source fabrics, trims and materials, balancing quality, cost and sustainability
* React quickly to emerging trends, developing newness and best-selling styles
* Present design concepts internally with clear creative and commercial rationale
* Maintain organisation across design documentation, samples and critical path
About You
* Experience working in design preferably within womenswear - multiproduct categories
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
* Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Excel, and Microsoft Office
