E-Commerce Procurement Specialist

Working in the E-Commerce department, the E-Commerce Procurement Specialist will have a varied role, taking on catalogue management, supplier relationship management and contracting activities. The role is key in the Procurement department, maintaining links between Purchase to Pay and Purchasing specialties.
Main duties of the job
Daily maintenance and management of catalogues and supplier relationship portfolio’s, liaising with key stakeholders both internal and connected to develop the department’s presence in the Trust. Catalogue requisition production, Service Desk queries and invoice disputes will form part of routine daily tasks in addition to core supplier work.
Qualifications
* Good standard of education
* Knowledge of procedures to NVQ level or equivalent experience
* Commitment to study to achieve membership and qualification (CIPS) or equivalent experience/knowledge
* Studying/working towards CIPS qualification
* Record of CPD
Experience
* Working in an office/team environment
* Experience of customer-facing roles or equivalent
* Public or private sector procurement
* Purchasing experience
Knowledge
* Understanding of procurement
* Basic knowledge of Purchase to Pay processes within a purchasing environment
* National Health Service (NHS)
* Understanding of NHS procurement procedures and regulations
* Working knowledge of GHX Nexus/Exchange and Integra platforms
* GS1 and PEPPOL
