Commercial Gas Engineer (Midlands)
We are looking for a Commercial Gas Engineer with over 5 years’ experience in a similar Gas/Plumbing/HVAC/Maintenance Engineer role. The role involves maintaining general gas and HVAC plant, performing repairs, keeping logbooks, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

* Salary: £38,000.00-£43,000.00 per year (DOE)
* Hours: 40 hours per week

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* General gas and HVAC plant maintenance
* Maintenance/repairs on general gas kit, unvented hot water cylinders, including mechanical & plumbing on site
* Maintain on-site logbooks, permits & site paperwork, ensuring they are completed and up to date
* Knowledge and experience of all gas plant including commercial gas boilers/water heaters, unvented hot water heaters, plumbing & pipework systems, expansion vessels, pumps etc.
* The call-out rota is on a rotating cycle (roughly 1 in 8 weeks)
Skills & Qualifications Required
Knowledge & Understanding
* Knowledge of gas systems/plant and over 5 years’ experience in a similar Gas/Plumbing/HVAC/Maintenance Engineer role
* Ideal candidates will come from a Facilities Maintenance background and have worked in a similar environment
* Health and safety awareness
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2/3
