Team: Adoption Social Worker Focus (Permanence Team)
Location: The Portal, Ellesmere Port, CH65 0BA
We are recruiting an interim social worker to join our Permanence Team based in Ellesmere Port, with a specific focus on ADOPTION. We are looking for candidates with at least 3 years post-qualified experience, significant experience in Adoption and Permanence roles, proven performance in quality case work in line with Cheshire West's expectations, and an ability to work openly and honestly with children, families, and partner agencies.
We offer excellent supervision, manageable caseloads, and the opportunity to work alongside stable teams of experienced social workers and permanent Team Managers. Free parking in all our localities, access to in-house training, and development to support CPD are also provided.
It would be beneficial if the candidate resides within a reasonable distance from Ellesmere Port, as while we do work hybrid, there is an expectation of regular work from our office bases. Please indicate the candidate's residence on the CV. Unfortunately, we cannot support candidates with accommodation or travel costs.
