Aspire Training Team are currently looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable individual to complete their Level 5 Childcare Apprenticeship at Sticky Fingers Childcare as a Deputy Manager.

Our educators are highly qualified and experienced professionals who are passionate about working with children. They undergo regular training to keep up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and practices, and are dedicated to providing the best possible care and education for each child.
We are looking for a deputy to support the team, lead and be in charge of the preschool, the candidate will need to be confident in being solely in charge in the absence of the manager.
Your duties in this role will include;
1. The successful candidate will manage the planning of the day and support the children’s development, learning and play and must be up to date with the EYFS
2. To undertake SENCO duties
3. To maintain and follow all safeguarding policies and procedures at all times and promote positive relationships in the early years’ setting with the children and the team
4. Promote the health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all times
5. To be up-to-date with the children’s individual learning plans and provide updates to parents and carers
Requirements;
6. Level 3 Childcare Qualification is essential when applying for this role
7. Experience in a deputy position is desired
8. You must be able to obtain a clear DBS
9. You will have GCSE Grades A*-C/4-9 in English Language and maths, or equivalent
10. Ofsted experience will be an advantage
11. Having SENCO experience will be an advantage
Hours;
12. Sticky Fingers Childcare is open from 7:00am until 18:00pm, Monday to Friday
13. You will be required to work 30 hours per week with shift patterns to be discussed
