What will you be doing?
As Senior Commercial Manager, you will play a key leadership role within our Asset Management team, overseeing the commercial, financial, and soft-technical aspects of PV and wind projects across the UK.
You will be responsible for managing project economics, contracts, reporting, and stakeholder relationships. Working in a dynamic team across the UK, Germany, and Italy may require occasional travel across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and coordinate management of assigned PV and wind portfolios.
* Monitor income and expenses of renewable energy operating companies.
* Prepare and maintain liquidity planning, budgets, and cost controls.
* Produce clear and accurate investor, owner, and bank reports on financial performance.
* Oversee operations, maintenance, and service contracts for operating companies.
* Support quarterly and annual financial statement preparation.
* Manage insurance and warranty claims on behalf of project companies.
* Liaise and collaborate with investors, banks, technical teams, auditors, tax advisors, and public authorities.
* Organise and manage shareholder meetings from preparation to execution and follow-up.
* Oversee internal reporting on plants and coordinate with client plant managers.
* Approach complex, multidisciplinary tasks with structured problem-solving and effective stakeholder management.
Qualifications:
* Commercial/financial training or equivalent qualification.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in renewable energy asset management (solar and/or wind) or real estate asset management.
* Strong financial, commercial, and contract management expertise.
* Independent, resilient, and detail-oriented approach to work.
* Highly proficient with MS Office applications.
* Excellent English communication skills (native-level or equivalent).
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a collaborative mindset.
You will be reporting to the Head of Asset Management.
Location: Hybrid (UK-based, with collaboration across UK, Italy and Germany)
