Job Description
Challenge, support and inspire all learners to achieve the best possible outcomes through the development and delivery of an innovative and creative curriculum. Assist with the promotion, delivery, and integration of the key objectives in relation to those identified within the Education Plan and the Community Plan.
Requirements
The duties of the post involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member or be subject to a PVG Scheme Record Update before any formal offer of employment can be made by East Ayrshire Council. PVG records are constantly updated; relevant disclosures will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

The Individual
This is a temporary part-time post until 28th June 2026, based within William McIlvanney Campus, Kilmarnock. The hours are 21 per week, Monday to Friday, as directed by the line manager. The full-time equivalent salary ranges from £40,305 to £50,589 per annum.
