Job summary
Old Swan Health Centre Group Practice is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Deputy Practice Manager to join our friendly and supportive GP practice team.
In this key role, you will work closely with the Practice Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the practice. You will support the day to day management of services, staff, and operational systems, helping us remain compliant, well organised, and responsive to the needs of our patients.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in General Practice or Primary Care who brings strong organisational skills and a collaborative, team focused mindset.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Practice Manager in overseeing daily operations across the practice
* Lead, supervise, and support administrative and reception teams
* Assist with HR processes including recruitment, training, and performance management
* Ensure compliance with CQC standards, clinical governance, and practice policies
* Oversee patient services, ensuring a positive and efficient experience
* Support the implementation of new systems, processes, and service improvements
* Deputise for the Practice Manager when required

Job summary:
The Deputy Practice Manager supports the Practice Manager in the day-to-day management and development of the GP practice. The post holder will deputise for the Practice Manager when required and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of administrative, financial, HR, and operational systems, while maintaining high standards of patient care and service delivery.
