We are now looking for a Procurement Officer to join our world class company. Candidates must have a good understanding of an experienced Procurement Officer and be someone who is competent working with clients, customers and colleagues of all levels of seniority.

Role fundamentals - What you’ll do:
· Assist in the purchasing of products and services from accredited suppliers
· Receive goods in
· Stock control, allocation and dispatch to confirmed projects and school visits.
· Maintain supplier price lists and ensure we are getting the best price.
· Provide stock reports to the Procurement Manager on a regular basis.
· work with sales team to assist in product sourcing and pricing to support clients needs and sales orders.
What you’ll need to succeed:
· Have a methodical and analytical approach to procurement projects and management
· Understand b2b procurement practices, ideally in the IT sector
· Have an established approach to successful purchase negotiation
· Be able to use multiple IT platforms and systems to drive effective procurement
· Be able to develop effective and supportive relationships across the department
· Be able to actively build on our existing customer base and maintain excellent working relationships
· Procurement of hardware and software for use in schools, driving costs down through bulk buying and effective order timing_
· Producing client facing quotations and sending out agreement renewals in support of the Account Management team
· Working with a range of established vendors to obtain pricing, maintain accreditations and build relationships
· Identify emerging vendors and new market trends to optimise any benefits these could offer
· Maintaining and updating our product database with a keen sense of attention to detail_
· Tracking orders and order updates, communicating effectively between all interested parties

What are the hours and working patterns?
40 hours a week between 8am – 5.30pm
