Flooring Contracts Manager – 6-Month Contract
Berry Recruitment are currently looking for a Flooring Contracts Manager on behalf of our client based in the Totton / Southampton area. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, ideal for someone with flooring or construction project experience.
This role will involve overseeing and managing flooring projects from start to finish. Full training will be provided; however, previous industry experience is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee all stages of flooring contracts, from site surveys and project planning through to final inspection
2. Prepare estimates and cost new enquiries
3. Coordinate labour and materials, including managing teams of fitters and scheduling works
4. Source materials such as carpet, vinyl, and LVT
5. Act as the main point of contact for clients, attending meetings and maintaining strong relationships
6. Monitor installation quality and ensure work meets required standards
Requirements
7. Proven experience in flooring installation, contracts management, or a similar role (commercial or residential)
8. Strong technical knowledge of flooring systems, subfloor preparation, and installation methods
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
10. Good commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and project timelines
What’s on Offer
11. Salary between £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (direct through our Client)
12. 6-month contract with training provided
