A small animal practice in the beautiful location of Littlehampton, West Sussex are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full time for 4 days per week with weekends on a rota. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
They are looking for an experienced Vet which has strong management and mentoring capabilities and someone who is confident both medically and surgically. They will be ambitious and driven and looking to take the next step in their own career and be commited to driving the practice forward. The lead Vet would be working as part of a team of 4 vets and 5 RVNs.
The practice has a supportive and friendly culture and they regularly have case discussions to share knowledge. The belive in case continuity and they equally share the surgical caseload.
The CPD is funded and personal development and specialisation to certificate level are encouraged. The practice offer 15 minute consultations and all the Vets are encouraged to follow their own cases. The Vets share the surgical caseload and all case discussions are encouraged.

About them:
The role is based at the main branch hospital which has been well established for several years boasting an excellent reputation. All surgeries and procedures take place at the hospital and they provide 24hr emergency service from there also. They have a fully trained RVN living on site who monitors all in patients. They practice provides full surgical and nursing facilities, with hospitalisation and intensive care.
The practice group comprises of 5 veterinary surgeons who provide a wide range of medical and surgical experience and have a varied special interest including soft tissue, ophthalmology, ultrasonography and much more. They also boast a large highly experienced RVN team. This is an accredited RCVS practice and an RCVS Nurse approved training practice.

Package:
19. Salary: Up to £55, per annum, commensurate to experience
20. Holidays: 33 days annual leave, including bank holidays
