Head of European Energy and Utility Procurement
Location - Uxbridge
Full day role based 5 days in the office
Purpose
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: As head of the Energy and Utility Procurement team you will be based at our corporate office in Uxbridge, London. We are looking for a strategic, forward-thinking professional who will be responsible for overseeing competitive sourcing of power, natural gas, and all utilities across UK and Europe
Key Responsibilites
* Purchase power, natural gas, water and industrial gasses for all sites in UK, Ireland and Europe
* Responsible for locking in market values at competitive costs. Strong ability to preform market research and pricing forecasts
* Review suppliers and sourcing supply
* Analyse economic and market data related to UK energy markets
* Budget, forecast and monitor site usage rates and costs
* Ensure sites have adequate supply to run efficiency
* Development of energy risk management models and tools
* Prepare regular reports and market updates for senior management
* Other duties as assigned
Skills & Knowledge
* Team leadership and management skills
* Proven analytical and quantitative skills
* Proficiency in statistical software and databases
* Knowledge of power, natural gas, fuel and currency markets
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

* 5+ years of experience preferred
* Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Statistics, Finance, Data Science or a related field required, MBA preferred
