Pharmacy Distribution Assistant

We are looking for an organised reliable Pharmacy Distribution Assistant to help ensure the safe and efficient supply of medicines across our hospital.
Responsibilities
* Receive, store, and distribute pharmaceutical products.
* Maintain accurate stock records and support inventory management.
* Deliver medicines to wards and departments in a timely manner.
* Work closely with pharmacy and clinical teams to support patient safety.
What We’re Looking For
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
* Previous experience in a healthcare or logistics setting is desirable but not essential, full training provided.

Please note that whilst the trust does offer sponsorship this role is unfortunately not eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Health and Care Worker visa route. This is due to the position not meeting the minimum salary threshold of £25,000 per annum and/or the required skill level set by UK Visas and Immigration.

The Pharmacy Distribution Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the safe, efficient, and timely distribution of medicines and pharmaceutical supplies across the hospital. Working closely with pharmacy staff and clinical teams, the postholder ensures that stock is delivered, replenished, and stored appropriately in line with Trust policies and procedures.
