Senior Quantity Surveyor.
Middlesbrough.
Residential Development.
An established, well-capitalised residential developer is seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee the commercial delivery of multiple housing projects from land appraisal through to final account.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, manage and report on site budgets and prime costs.
* Lead subcontractor procurement, payments, variations and final accounts.
* Monitor build costs, report savings/excesses and forecast final position.
* Support land appraisals and feasibility studies with detailed cost estimates
* Implement value engineering to maximise profitability.
* Ensure consistent commercial processes across the team
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven residential housebuilding experience.
* Strong commercial, negotiation and cost control skills.
* IT proficient; experience with industry cost systems advantageous.
* Professional membership desirable.
