Job Title: Electrician

Job Overview
The Electrician will carry out electrical testing, inspection, installation, and maintenance works across schools, care homes, and social housing properties throughout Gloucestershire. The role requires a high standard of workmanship, strong compliance with health & safety regulations, and a professional, customer-focused approach.
This is a varied position where no two days are the same, ideal for an experienced electrician who enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in delivering quality work.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
* Complete remedial, planned, and reactive electrical works
* Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
* Work independently and as part of a wider team
* Accurately complete documentation using tablets and reporting systems
* Support and assist in the training of apprentices when required
* Maintain compliance with current wiring regulations and health & safety legislation
Essential Requirements
* Completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) Inspection & Testing
* Proven experience in testing, inspection, and maintenance
* Good understanding of health & safety regulations
* Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
* Confident using tablets for reports and certification
* Full UK Driving Licence
