Are you an experienced Mechanical Technician ready to bring your skills to a busy food manufacturing environment? We're looking for a proactive engineer who enjoys problem-solving, thrives on variety, and takes pride in keeping production running at its best.
About the Role
You'll be part of a skilled maintenance team responsible for keeping our production lines and supporting systems in top condition. From installations and upgrades to troubleshooting and routine maintenance, you'll play a hands-on role in ensuring our equipment operates safely and efficiently.
No two days are the same - one day you might be fabricating or welding components, the next resolving a breakdown, or working on a continuous improvement project. Your attention to detail and safety-first approach will be key to our success.
What We're Looking For
·A solid background in mechanical maintenance, ideally within food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing
·Level 3 qualification or above in Mechanical Engineering (Apprenticeship, BTEC, or Diploma)
·Confident working with mechanical systems, workshop tools, and utilities such as compressed air or steam
·Strong problem-solving ability and an understanding of preventative maintenance systems (CMMS)
·A team player with good communication skills who can also work independently
·Awareness of hygiene and safety standards in a food production environment
