We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join our client, a UK leading manufacturer within their HQ located in Hixon, Staffordshire. This is a full time permanent role from day one.
Accounts Assistant key job details:
* Monday to Thursday, 07:30 to 17:00
* 4 day week, every week
* Salary: £24,500 p/annum
* Permanent job
Accounts Assistant key duties:
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software, as well as Excel
* Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation.
* Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
* Conduct bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.
* Collaborate with other departments to provide financial reporting and support for decision-making processes.
* Sales order and Purchase order processing and management
Accounts Assistant person specification:
* Previous experience Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper, or Accounts Clerk role is required
* Experience in using accounting software and be a competent user of Excel
* Familiarity with financial concepts including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and account analysis
* Ability to write clear financial reports that effectively communicate complex information to stakeholders
* Have your own transport due to location of work
