The position of Catering Assistant is referred to internally at Sanctuary, as General Assistant – Catering.
Your role
1. Help prepare meals and drinks while following food hygiene standards
2. Support customers and colleagues to deliver a high standard of service
3. Keep kitchens, communal areas, and flats clean and tidy
4. Report any faults or hazards to maintain a safe environment
5. Monitor stock levels and ensure equipment is used safely
Your skills
6. Experience with general cleaning duties (desirable)
7. Some experience in a domestic or catering environment
8. Level 2 diploma in housekeeping or catering, or willingness to work towards
9. Good interpersonal and customer service skills
10. Basic understanding of health and safety in the workplace
