Due to continued growth and some exciting new projects, Ian Farmer Associates are growing and need an experienced Engineering Geologist to help with an exciting and varied new project workload in a growing office. Details of the position are below;
Responsibilities include:
1. Supervision of ground investigations, including cable percussion, rotary, and window sampling crews
2. Trial pitting / Logging of soil and rock to BS5930 / Eurocode 7
3. Project Management of ground investigations
4. Production of Phase 1 Desk Studies
5. Assistance in the preparation of Factual and Interpretive Reports
Person Specification:
Ideally you will have the following attributes:
6. A geology / earth sciences degree
7. Good time keeping
8. Good communication skills
9. Good Project Management skills
10. A full UK driving licence
11. Willing to travel and work away from home
12. Be within a reasonable travelling distance of the office base, or be prepared to re-locate
13. CSCS Card & First Aid Training
