About HausBots
We're HausBots, a robotics company helping manufacturers automate inspection. We sell robotic solutions to industrial companies globally, with most of our business coming from the US.
We're growing fast, and figuring things out as we go. That means you'll have real impact and real responsibility from day one—but it also means things change quickly and you need to be comfortable with that.
If you're entrepreneurial and willing to learn fast, you'll have way more opportunity than you would at a big company.
The Role
We're hiring a Marketing Executive to help us generate leads and grow our pipeline.
This is a learn-by-doing role. We'll learn together how to do B2B marketing, sales, and how to sell complex products to industrial companies. But you need to bring energy, curiosity, and a willingness to try things that might not work.
Your main job: Help us get in front of people who need what we sell, and turn them into sales conversations.
Right now, that's mostly through LinkedIn (content, ads, outreach). Tomorrow it might be something completely different. We need someone who's adaptable and willing to experiment.
What You'll Actually Do
Lead Generation (70% of your time)
Your goal: Generate qualified sales meetings
This means:
* Finding people at companies who might need our robots
* Reaching out to them (LinkedIn messages, InMails, emails)
* Starting conversations to see if there's a fit
* Booking them into calls with our sales team
* SEO and GEO
* Planning and executing events and tradeshows
* Webinars
You'll use tools like LinkedIn, HubSpot, and Lemlist to do this.
Some weeks you'll be:
* Researching companies and building target lists
* Writing personalised messages to potential customers
* Following up with people who've shown interest
* Tracking conversations and keeping things organised
The hard part isn't the tactics—it's doing it consistently and not giving up when people don't reply.
Marketing Experiments (20% of your time)
We don't know what marketing will work best for us yet. LinkedIn is working now, but we need to keep testing.
You'll help us try new things:
* Testing different LinkedIn ad campaigns
* Creating content (posts, case studies, videos)
* Trying new outreach channels
* Tracking what works and what doesn't
* Facebook, meta
We're looking for someone who's okay with things not working. Half of what we try will fail. That's fine. We just need to learn fast and try the next thing.
Admin & Operations (10% of your time)
The boring but necessary stuff:
* Keeping HubSpot updated with conversations
* Tracking performance (how many messages sent, how many replies, how many meetings booked)
* Helping with trade show prep or customer materials when needed
What Success Looks Like
Month 1: Learn the basics
* Understand our product and who we sell to
* Get comfortable with our tools (LinkedIn, HubSpot, Lemlist)
* Start sending outreach messages (we'll help you write them)
Month 2-3: Start generating results
* Book 3-5 sales meetings per month
* Show up every day, stay organized, don't drop balls
Month 6+: Own it
* Consistently book 6-8 meetings per month
* Come up with your own ideas for what to test
* Work independently without needing constant direction
Bonus structure:
* £X per meeting that turns into a closed deal
You're a Great Fit If:
We're hiring for attitude, not experience. Here's what matters:
Must-haves:
* You're hungry to learn. You don't know much about B2B marketing yet, but you're genuinely curious and willing to figure it out.
* You're resilient. Most people won't reply to your messages. You're okay with that and keep going.
* You can write well. You don't need to be Shakespeare, but you can write a clear, personalized message that doesn't sound like a robot wrote it.
* You're organised. You track your work, follow up when you say you will, and don't let things fall through the cracks.
* You're self-motivated. You don't need someone standing over you telling you what to do every hour.
* You're coachable. When we give you feedback, you take it on board and improve.
Nice-to-haves:
* Some exposure to sales, marketing, or customer-facing roles (internship, part-time job, whatever)
* Interest in tech, robotics, or engineering (but not required)
* You've used LinkedIn actively (not just scrolling—actually posting or networking)
You'll love this if:
* You want to learn B2B marketing and sales from the ground up
* You like the idea of working at a startup where you can see your impact
* You're comfortable with ambiguity and things changing
* You want responsibility and autonomy (not just being told what to do)
* You're okay with failing sometimes as long as you're learning
What We're NOT Looking For
You're not a fit if:
* You need a structured corporate environment with clear processes for everything
* You need constant validation and hand-holding
* You're just looking for "a marketing job" and don't really care what the company does
* You think marketing is just posting on Instagram and TikTok (that's not what we do)
* You give up easily when things don't work the first time
* You're looking for a 9-5 where you clock in and clock out
Why Join HausBots?
