Job Title: Restaurant Operations Manager

Salary: £38,000-£42,000 plus Tronc

We're looking for a Restaurant Operations Manager to take full ownership of our modern brasserie restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences while continuously improving systems, standards, and team performance. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who doesn't wait to be told what needs fixing — they spot it, solve it, and elevate the operation.
About the Role
Our brasserie-style restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner to a mix of leisure guests and corporate visitors. It's a high-volume, high-impact environment with a focus on quality, consistency, and personality. You'll be responsible for the full guest journey — from service standards and team culture to commercial performance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support the FOH management team and restaurant staff
* Identify operational inefficiencies and implement improvements independently
* Define and deliver the guest journey in line with our luxury positioning and "fun dining" ethos
* Create SOPs and training plans that drive consistency and excellence
* Monitor guest feedback and take proactive action to improve satisfaction
* Own the restaurant P&L, driving revenue, cost control, and profitability
* Collaborate with the Executive Chef and marketing team to enhance service and promotions
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, licensing, and food hygiene standards
* Champion sustainability, local sourcing, and waste reduction
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in restaurant or F&B management within a high-volume, quality-led environment
* Confident decision-maker with a track record of operational improvements
* Strong leadership and coaching skills — able to build and inspire high-performing teams
* Commercially astute, with a deep understanding of cost control and revenue generation
* Passionate about guest experience, brand standards, and continuous improvement
* Comfortable working independently and taking full ownership of outcomes
