Role overview: Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Solicitor/Legal Executive to join their Commercial Litigation team in Leeds. The ideal candidate will have at least two year’s PQE, be conscientious, dedicated and hardworking with a desire to learn and progress. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team within a thriving legal practice. We are looking for someone to hit the ground running on an existing and varied commercial litigation caseload. Key responsibilities: Manage a full caseload of commercial litigation files. Assist senior colleagues with all steps of multitrack litigation Provide accurate and practical legal advice to clients on all aspects of commercial litigation law. Excellent client care skills and the ability to build good rapport. Play an active role in business development and marketing activities, contributing to the firm’s profile in the market Conduct due diligence on every file. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations. Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet targets for fees and time recording Ensure aged debt and matter balances are dealt with promptly and efficiently. Uphold the firm’s reputation for excellence. Essential qualifications and skills: Minimum 3 years PQE within this area of law. Proven ability to manage a busy caseload independently and efficiently. Strong knowledge of litigation, regulations, and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High level of attention to detail and organisational skills.
