Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic
Hours: 4 day working week, 37 hour's. Mon to Thurs.
It alternates between days and nights.
What you'll be doing
* Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with the Approved Technical Information and relevant risk assessments and that all airworthiness records are maintained
* Make sure all activities are appropriately documented and identify and report any issues and escalate as appropriate
* Procedure/Standards – Complying with the Organisations MOE, its associated procedures and standards, and any other company procedures and standards
* Safety Management System – You will understand and apply human factors, error management, within maintenance
* Continuing Airworthiness Assurance (Quality) – Ensuring maintenance activities are compliant with the Continuing Airworthiness Assurance Management system
* You will be undertaking a range of maintenance on an aircraft which may include, as appropriate, aircraft role changes, component removals, inspections, repairs, modifications, fault rectifications, replacements and/or functional/system test
Your skills and experiences
* Experience of working within and the practical application of EASA/MRP Part 145
* Experience of working on complex military aircraft programmes
* Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent military qualifications OR NVQ
* Academic qualification for this role is a minimum of City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or equivalent
