We are currently working in partnership with a Public Sector Organisation based in Birmingham, who are recruiting for a Procurement Administrator on a temporary contract. The position is due to start within the next two weeks.
It is a hybrid role with two days in office, and the hourly rate on offer is £17umb.
·Supporting the Procurement Team in delivering value-for-money purchasing in line with the procurement policies and procedures
·Taking notes and utilising excel, including Vlookups and Pivot Tables
·Assisting with the preparation and issue of tender documentation, requests for quotations, and supplier evaluation processes
·Maintaining accurate procurement records, including contract registers, purchase order logs, and supplier databases
·Liaising with internal departments to clarify purchasing requirements and ensure timely processing of requisitions
·Assisting with supplier onboarding, ensuring due diligence checks and compliance statutory requirements
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
·Skilled in utilising Excel
·A proactive attitude, with a keen interest in procurement
Working hours:
·37 hours per week
·Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
