Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
* Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, equipment, and seating areas.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines during food preparation and service.
* Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
* Assist with food preparation as needed, including pastries and light snacks.
* Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
* Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for order totals.
Requirements
* Previous barista experience is what we are looking for
* Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
* Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
* Basic math skills for handling transactions and order calculations.
* Excellent time management skills to thrive in a busy environment.
