Year 4 Teacher
Are you an inspiring educator looking for a stable long-term placement in a supportive primary school? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Year 4 Teacher to cover a maternity leave at a vibrant school in Lowton (WA3).
Starting in May 2026, this role offers the opportunity to embed yourself in a community-focused school and lead a bright, inquisitive class through to March 2027.
The Role
As the Year 4 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of learning and engagement already established within the year group.
Duration: May 2026 - March 2027.
Planning: Full teaching responsibilities including planning, marking, and assessment.
Collaboration: Working closely with a supportive parallel Year 4 teacher to share resources and ideas.
Environment: A school known for its "family feel" and excellent behaviour management systems.
What We Are Looking For
A creative approach to the curriculum that brings subjects like History and Science to life.
A commitment to nurturing the social and emotional well-being of every child.
Strong communication skills to maintain positive relationships with parents and carers.
To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:
* Be a qualified teacher with QTS with a minimum 2 years' experience.
* Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment
* Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
* Legal right to work in the UK
