Purpose of the Job:
As the Head of Creative Services, you will play a pivotal role in establishing the smooth operation of our Production Directorate. Reporting to the Creative Director, you will collaborate with department heads and other senior stakeholders across the organization to develop and implement project management and content workflows, enabling the team to deliver work effectively.
You will lead the team in creating a roadmap for implementation once creative ideas are envisioned and agreed upon. Your role involves developing, training, and integrating a team of Creatives and Producers into a new operating model capable of managing and delivering a range of content throughout the year. This includes collaborating with project teams across departments to ensure successful delivery of large, complex content projects, as well as several smaller projects, across various channels and formats (digital, broadcast, social, etc.).
You will also be responsible for delegating tasks, mapping internal resources, budgets, timelines, and ensuring the production team delivers content on time and within budget. Additionally, you will ensure that production activities align with strategic vision, fostering an efficient and harmonious process for the team, and instilling order within processes to promote efficiency and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement robust project management processes for efficient content delivery, supporting briefs from the Strategy Directorate.
* Continuously improve and streamline workflows to deliver content on time and within budget.
* Oversee all shoots and content activations, ensuring alignment with strategic and creative visions.
* Build and maintain planning roadmaps and critical paths, aligning priorities with budgets and strategic goals.
* Collaborate with Legal, HR, and Assurance departments to establish aligned processes.
* Manage paperwork processes, including contracts, safeguarding, legal documentation, and risk assessments, ensuring compliance.
* Manage and strategize resource allocation for creative and production teams, including creatives, designers, editors, and producers.
* Work with other departments to implement traffic management systems for optimal resource utilization.
* Develop training programs to enhance Producers' skills in managing multi-channel campaigns.
* Incorporate diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) principles into processes and outputs.
* Build relationships with external collaborators and freelancers committed to DEIB and organizational mission.
* Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to improve operational processes and training.
This role requires a combination of creative, technical, and people management skills, including expertise in integrated marketing tools, stakeholder management, and team leadership. Extensive experience in team management, training, and development, as well as strategic content production workflows for cross-media campaigns, is essential. Prior experience in a creative agency or production company, proficiency with project management tools, and strong mentorship, coaching, and budget management skills are also required.
