This is a night’s role and hours will be discussed at interview
5 from 7 days a week
45 hours
Shift pattern and start times are flexible
You will be responsible for:
* Training the permanent Warehouse Trainers to deliver warehouse inductions, safety and compliance training as well as delivering inductions, SSOW & MHE training (LLOP, Ride-on and FLT) to the new starters during the ramp up period.
* Observation, feedback and coaching of trainers new to Sysco
* Training managers new to Sysco in Pristine best practices
* Sign off new starters as being competent in SSOW & basic MHE before handing over to the warehouse team managers for department process / system training
* Support site set-up of training record system, ensure training is recorded on system and system in place for tracking re-training requirements
* In conjunction with central training team, sign off the Hemel training team as competent & hand over full responsibility for the warehouse training department.
* Support recruitment activity (interviews, site tours, right to work check etc)
* Set up PPE management process, issue and control of PPE & train permanent training team in process.
* Issue Sysco credentials
* Support educating the permanent team in our colleague benefits offer and how to access it
Experience, Skills and Knowledge required,
* L3 AET qualified (Deseriable)
* Knowledge and experience of delivering warehouse operative inductions and be familiar with the new Academy induction material (Essential)
* Pristine accreditation (POPs) - Level 2 Essential, Level 3 Desirable
* Current accredited FLT trainer (Desirable, although minimum. requirement is that you have a valid Reach truck licence)
* First Aid, Fire Marshall & Mental Health First Aider trainer (Desirable)
* Good coaching / mentoring skills and experience
* Flexible to work across different shifts / days and able to commit to length of assignment (ideally 9 months but min of 3 months)
* Works on own initiative
* Role-model for others
* Comfortable with ambiguity and able to works effectively and efficiently
* Pro-actively identifies problems and generates new ideas and solutions
* Driving Licence
