Construction Disputes Solicitor/Associate - Bristol - 1-5 Years PQE

Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (flexible and part time options considered)
Salary: £60,000 to £95,000 (depending on PQE)
A highly regarded national commercial law firm is seeking a Construction Disputes Solicitor/Associate (1-5 PQE) to join its expanding contentious construction team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a nationally recognised practice, advising on high value, complex disputes for public and private sector clients across the UK.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a varied and stimulating caseload of contentious construction matters, including:
* Advising on final account and loss and expense claims
* Handling significant defect disputes and PFI/PPP project issues
* Acting on high value adjudications, litigation and alternative dispute resolution
* Working with clients including local authorities, NHS Trusts, housing associations, developers, funders and contractors
* Supporting senior lawyers on major national disputes and strategic advisory work
* Drafting pleadings, correspondence and legal analysis with precision
* Liaising directly with clients and external stakeholders
* Contributing to a collaborative, national team with strong cross office integration
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
* 1-5 years PQE in construction disputes or commercial litigation with construction exposure
* Strong drafting, analytical and problem solving skills
* Ability to manage time effectively and handle a busy caseload
* Confidence in liaising with clients and delivering clear, commercial advice
* Ambition to develop expertise within a high performing national team
* A proactive, organised and collaborative approach
* Interest in progressing within a growing practice with excellent long term prospects
* Flexible working arrangements are available, including part time options and no fixed office attendance requirements.
