Emotional Health & Wellbeing Service Lead Practitioner Leeds TIME

Permanent position but with a provisional end date for funding of 31/3/2027

£30,600 - £32,823.52 per annum

35 hour week (part time will be considered)

Leeds Time for young people is an emotional wellbeing service for 11–18-year-olds living and studying in Leeds (as well as care leavers and individuals with special educational needs or disabilities up to 25). The service supports young people who are struggling with their wellbeing to find coping strategies and techniques, through a suite of support options. Examples are our drop-in sessions where young people can drop in and meet trained staff one to one. Young people can come along and talk through what they are struggling with. The service does not hold a waiting list and therefore the ability to build relationships quickly, identify risks, and process further support is vital. Alongside our drop-in support, we also offer young people more structured one-to-one sessions, alongside group-based work.

Please note that Leeds Time for Young People service operates Monday – Saturdays and our opening hours supports the needs of the communities in which we work. You will be required to work a number of drop in throughout the week, these generally finish at 7pm. You are also required to work 2 Saturdays per month 9.30 till These will always be agreed in advance and will be as flexible as possible to need individual needs.

We are looking for a Lead Practitioner that has experience of:

* Working in emotional wellbeing/mental health settings/services with young people aged predominantly 11-17)
* Support staff members to report safeguarding concerns, ensuring that relevant and timely referrals are made whilst escalating support where appropriate
* Working with external stakeholders to deliver better outcomes for children, young people and young adults
* Providing line management and/or reflective case management support to a staff team for those young people the staff member's support
* Embedding outcome tools such as Goal Based Outcomes and WEMWBS
