Job role: Transport Manager Location: West Midlands Salary: £40k - £45k (dependant on level of experience) Responsibilities: Manage and enforce company processes and procedures to ensure full compliance with the requirements of the Operator License. Maintain Operator license data to the satisfaction of the Office of the Traffic Commissioner and DVSA. Administrate, advise, and inform the wider business on all legislative updates relating to Operator License compliance, record keeping requirements, vehicles checks, maintenance, and condition reporting. Ensure that fleet processes comply fully with legislative requirements of continuous motor insurance. Provide support and advice to all employees within the business. Ensure all vehicles are serviced as per manufacturers’ recommended service intervals and LOLER tests are kept up to date. Ensure that vehicles and equipment are maintained in a fit and proper manner, in accordance with vehicle & equipment operating manuals.
