About the opportunity:
We are the internal recruitment partner for a well‑established business creating bespoke exhibition stands for events across the UK and abroad. With a strong reputation and exciting projects lined up, they’re expanding their team and looking for a driven and results focused Sales Team Manager to join the team in Washingley, Peterborough.
You’ll lead and motivate our Sales Team to deliver exceptional results across our full range of products and services including exhibition stands, custom displays, office branding, furniture hire, printing, event branding, and more.
This is a hands‑on role where you’ll manage key client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
* Generate new leads, follow up enquires and convert prospects into long term clients.
* Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the Sales Team to enhance skills, performance, and career growth.
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships
* Oversee the sales process, from lead management to proposal preparation and deal closure, ensuring best practices are followed.
* Ensure seamless client service delivery from initial enquiry through to aftersales.
* Monitor team performance, maintain accurate records, and report insights to senior management.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in guiding and supporting a sales team to maximise performance and growth.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Experience in the exhibitions, events, or display industry is desirable but not essential.
* Organised, motivated, and customer focused.
