About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to pupils across the school, working closely with class teachers to ensure all children are engaged, confident, and able to achieve their full potential.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about education who thrives in a lively and nurturing school environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support pupils' learning across the curriculum, both individually and in small groups.
* Assist the class teacher in preparing and organising learning materials and classroom activities.
* Help to maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
* Promote pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.
* Support behaviour management strategies in a calm and consistent manner.
* Provide feedback to the class teacher on pupil progress and any concerns.
* Supervise pupils during playtimes, lunch, or other school activities as required.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Is approachable, motivated, and committed to supporting children's learning.
* Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Can work effectively as part of a team as well as independently when needed.
* Is organised, proactive, and eager to contribute to school life.
* Has good literacy and numeracy skills.
* Understands safeguarding responsibilities and is committed to pupil welfare.
* Experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
