Prospero Teaching have a number of exciting opportunities for experienced education professionals to provide 1:1 tuition to young people in Chichester and the local area. This is a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to learners who need additional support.
As a Tutor, you will:
1. Deliver tailored tuition sessions to learners with SEN, SEMH, trauma-related needs, or those at risk of permanent exclusion (PEX).
2. Plan and prepare sessions that are structured, practical, and paced appropriately.
3. Build positive relationships and provide a safe, supportive learning environment.
About you:
4. At least 1 year of experience in UK schools in roles such as: Tutor Teacher Cover Supervisor Teaching Assistant ELSA 1:1 Support
5. Ability to plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons.
6. Empathy and resilience when working with learners with additional needs.

Essential & Desirable Qualifications:

9. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
10. Provide references upon request
11. Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
