Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Fitter at STAFFORD UPVC WINDOWS LIMITED located in Penkridge. The Fitter will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining UPVC windows and doors. Daily tasks include measuring and marking surfaces, cutting and shaping materials, assembling and fitting window and door units, and ensuring quality standards are met. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting installation issues and providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications
* Experience in window and door installation and repair
* Skills in measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
* Ability to work with hand and power tools safely and effectively
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Physical stamina and ability to work at heights
* Relevant certification or training in carpentry or related field is a plus
