Bring your skills as a Principal Dams and Reservoirs Engineer. You will play a vital role in every aspect of dams and reservoir engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.
We specialise in all aspects of dams and reservoir engineering across multiple challenging sectors such as Water, Aviation, Energy, and Cities & Development. We provide industry-leading engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, adding value through client-side support and during construction phases. We currently have opportunities in our Epsom office.
Your Purpose:
1. Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant standards and codes, ensuring high-quality output.
2. Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
3. Manage time and budgets effectively to meet project milestones and programmes.
4. Collaborate with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
5. Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
What you can bring:
* Chartered Civil Engineer.
* Interest in developing into the role of Reservoir Supervising Engineer.
* Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
* Knowledge of hydraulic and/or geotechnical engineering related to dams and reservoirs and their hydraulic structures.
* In-depth knowledge of UK design standards, guidance, and practices, including the Reservoirs Act.
