We have a great opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to join our team working on the Thames Water framework, supporting the delivery of clean water projects. This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to develop their career within civil and construction engineering, with full support and mentoring.
Here are some of the activities you will be involved in…
* Assisting with the setting out of works on site
* Completing daily site records and maintaining accurate engineering documentation
* Recording as-built information and supporting quality control activities
* Producing weekly site progress reports
* Supporting the Senior Engineer to ensure designs are delivered in line with specifications and health and safety requirements
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to provide project updates
* Checking that equipment is calibrated, in date, and compliant with company and manufacturer requirements
We would love to hear from you if…
You are a recent graduate with a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering (electrical disciplines are not suitable for this role). Some site-based experience within the UK construction industry, such as a placement, internship, or summer role, would be advantageous.
A full valid UK manual driving licence is essential for this role. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a willingness to learn and develop under the guidance of experienced engineers.
