About EmailOctopus
EmailOctopus is a simple, intuitive and affordable email marketing platform trusted by global companies such as Jaguar Land Rover and local names like Outbreak Festival and Kendall Calling. We're a small, remote-first team making a big impact - helping our users send over 10 billion emails a year.
The role
You’ll join a 6-person product development team, working across our modern Symfony and Vue-based platform. You'll help architect, build and scale new features, while improving the robustness of our high-volume email delivery infrastructure. Working in a lean team, you’ll have real autonomy, input and influence over what we build and how we build it.
You’ll contribute to key projects like improving our drag-and-drop email editor, scaling our analytics infrastructure or refreshing our automation builder. We ship every day, and you’ll take ownership of projects from design to deployment.

What we’re looking for
* Proficiency in a modern server-side language
* Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks
* Strong frontend skills
* Passion for clean, tested, maintainable code
* Self-motivated and comfortable with autonomy
* UK-based with the right to work
Nice to have
* Hands-on experience with Symfony or Laravel
* Familiarity with AWS and Docker
* Experience with high-volume systems or email infrastructure
