About The Role
Temporary position covering maternity for 27.45 hours per week, including some weekend work.
Overview
As an Activities Co‑ordinator at HC‑One you will plan and implement activities that delight residents across our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. The role supports the Home Manager with fundraising events and helps residents become more socially engaged. Kindness is the core value guiding all actions.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver a variety of activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
* Support the Home Manager with organising essential fundraising events.
* Collaborate with the care home team to integrate activities into daily care.
* Understand and respond to residents’ needs, communicating with compassion and respect.
* Recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect, report concerns, and participate in safeguarding training.
Qualifications
* Background working with vulnerable individuals; ideally experience developing activity programmes.
* Strong planning, organisational and IT skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and residents.
* Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively.
