With Intelligence is recruiting an Investor Data Asset Manager to join the London team.
This senior role has the key responsibility of being the business owner of investor data, translating data requirements from Product into specific deliverables, and owning the delivery plan for that data.
The Investor Data Asset Manager is accountable for workflows and resourcing profiles related to data delivery in their domain, working directly with Heads of Data Operations to ensure operational outputs align with business expectations.
They collaborate with stakeholder departments (commercial, events, product) across the company to establish and meet SLAs, KPIs, and other data quality deliverables. They are responsible for identifying, developing, and optimizing data acquisition and quality improvement strategies.
The Investor Data Asset Manager is part of the Data Function Senior Management Team, working closely with the Chief Data Officer.
They will utilize data analysts, business analysts, and other SME resources to make data-driven decisions and generate insights on data usage, engagement, productivity, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Data Proposition and Data Charter
* Agree data charters and SLAs with Product, providing estimates and updates on delivery timelines, costs, and coverage to support product decisions.
* Translate Product requirements into specific deliverables, defining KPIs around data coverage, quality, and timeliness.
* Develop and manage plans to deliver data aligned with targets and requirements.
* Identify and qualify new data sources or approaches to improve data coverage and timeliness.
Delivery of the Data Charter
* Manage plans to deliver data in line with the charter.
* Coordinate, monitor, and improve delivery activities from data research, editorial, and processing teams.
* Review the progress of editorial and data activities within the Investor domain.
* Explore and refine data capture levers such as FOIA and Outreach for operational use.
* Work with Data Managers, TLs, Editors, and SMEs regularly to review and refine operational effectiveness.
* Improve workflows, communication, and coordination among related teams.
Reporting and Communication
* Act as the main contact for reporting on data health and capabilities, especially for product and commercial teams.
* Update stakeholders on content status and progress.
Requirements
* Proven experience in data analysis and management.
* Strong understanding of the Investor and Fund Manager data landscape.
* Deep knowledge of investor information, including regulatory filings and documentation.
* Experience in/with the asset management industry.
* Extensive domain expertise.
* Previous team management experience.
* Analytical problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication skills.
* Degree in a relevant field preferred.
