Overview
An established and internationally connected engineering business is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse and Inventory Operative to join their team. This is a key role within a dynamic and collaborative environment, ideal for someone with a strong background in inventory control and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods using a modern ERP system (training provided).
* Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure inventory records are consistently up to date.
* Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure timely order fulfilment.
* Oversee and support the assembly and testing of mechanical components (basic mechanical knowledge required).
* Ensure the warehouse and shop floor are kept clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards.
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a warehouse or inventory control role.
* Proficient in using stock control systems and Microsoft Office applications.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Valid forklift licence is essential.
