Personal Assistant & Business Development Intern (Healthcare Consulting)
Location: Lyndhurst, New Forest, UK - Hybrid role with occasional travel for meetings and events
Duration: 6-Month Internship with pathway to permanent employment
Hours: Flexible (Part-Time or Full-Time)
Avezda Ltd is a specialist healthcare consultancy working with NHS organisations, private healthcare providers and health technology companies across the UK. We support clients with market access, business development, NHS procurement, framework submissions, strategic partnerships and growth initiatives.
We are seeking an ambitious and highly organised individual to join us as a Personal Assistant & Business Development Intern. This is a unique opportunity to work directly alongside the Managing Director and gain first-hand exposure to healthcare consulting, NHS procurement, executive engagement and commercial strategy.
This is far more than a traditional PA role. The successful candidate will become involved in a wide range of strategic and commercial activities and will play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities

Executive Support
* Manage diaries, calendars and meeting scheduling.
* Coordinate internal and external communications.
* Organise travel arrangements and meeting logistics.
* Support day-to-day operational activities.
Research & Strategic Projects
* Conduct market and competitor research.
* Identify NHS opportunities and healthcare trends.
* Produce briefing documents and reports.
* Assist with stakeholder mapping and account planning.
NHS Frameworks & Procurement
* Support the preparation of framework applications and tender submissions.
* Assist with drafting responses and compiling supporting documentation.
* Help maintain compliance and governance records.
* Work alongside the Managing Director on strategic bids and proposals.
Business Development
* Identify prospective customers and strategic partners.
* Research healthcare providers, NHS organisations and private clinics.
* Support outreach activities and lead generation.
* Assist in building and maintaining the sales pipeline.
Executive Engagement
* Arrange meetings with senior leaders across healthcare and industry.
* Coordinate communications with C-suite executives, NHS stakeholders and partners.
* Prepare agendas, presentations and follow-up actions.
Who We’re Looking For

* Interested in healthcare, business, consulting or technology.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and AI productivity tools.
* Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Previous experience is not essential. We value attitude, initiative and willingness to learn above all else.
