The role of the Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant involves working under the guidance of teaching and senior staff to undertake work, care, and support programmes. The goal is to enable access to learning for students and assist teachers in managing students and the classroom.
The post holder is expected to act with honesty and integrity, uphold the Professional Standards for Teaching Assistants, and prioritize the education and welfare of pupils. The Teaching Assistant will demonstrate values and behaviors aligned with their professional role.
