About the Team
Here at Warwickshire County Council we put children and families at the heart of everything we do. We aim to ensure that Warwickshire’s children, young people, parents and carers receive the right help at the right time. We are passionate about supporting communities and families to build on their strengths and relationships and find their own solutions.
About the Service and Role
On 3 March 2025 we launched Family Connect, the County’s Children and Families Front Door. Family Connect is designed to support children as early as possible, prioritising early intervention and directing concerns to the right services.
The Service is built around two linked hubs: the Triage Hub and the Multi‑Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) which brings together Warwickshire County Council, Warwickshire Police, the National Health Service and other partner agencies such as Education, Probation, etc.
We are recruiting a permanent Peripatetic Social Worker to join our vibrant Family Connect Team. You will be based in Family Connect but will work flexibly across a variety of service areas throughout Warwickshire, including supporting the Family Help Teams, child protection and care proceedings.
