Our Duty House Manager role
We’re looking for an organised, proactive Duty House Manager to be at the heart of their hotel operations, delivering an exceptional guest experience.
You’ll oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly, while maintaining high standards across all areas. With a hands-on approach, you’ll support the team, build relationships with guests, and step in wherever needed.

This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week.
As our client’s Duty House Manager you’ll be
6. Overseeing hotel operations across all departments during your shift.
7. Acting as the main point of contact for guest queries and feedback.
8. Supporting Front of House during busy periods.
9. Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, presentation and service.
10. Welcoming VIPs, groups and returning guests.
11. Handling complaints and resolving issues confidently.
You’ll also
12. Maintain a safe working environment and lead emergency procedures
13. Work closely with department heads to resolve operational issues
14. Ensure clear communication and handovers between teams
15. Support a seamless guest journey from booking to departure
16. Contribute to ongoing improvements across the hotel
17. Assist in covering our Night Manager during holidays & sickness.
18. Understand our shared responsibility to care for their team and our planet, and the reason they are working towards B Corp accreditation.
The skills you’ll be sharing with us
