This is a

technical, insurance-driven role, not a generic HR/employee benefits position. You’ll be helping clients navigate the complexities of group risk and healthcare schemes—so prior experience in this area, or in a relevant consultancy or provider role, is key. The Role – What You’ll Do:

As a

Group Risk & Healthcare Consultant, you will be responsible for: Managing

market reviews

of group risk and healthcare policies

Liaising with clients to gather scheme details, eligibility changes, and updates

Approaching insurers for terms and updating internal systems

Analysing insurer responses and preparing

Excel-based reports

with recommendations

Delivering advice and updates to clients over the phone or in person

Processing insurer instructions and supporting form completions

Handling client queries across PMI, GLA, GIP, Cash Plan & Dental policies

Issuing and reconciling annual accounts and invoices

Staying current on market developments and insurer propositions

About You:

Previous experience in

group risk or healthcare insurance, ideally within a consultancy, broker, or provider

GR1 qualified—or committed to achieving this as part of your professional development

Strong Excel and data-handling skills

A confident communicator, able to advise clients in a clear, professional manner

Organised, accurate, and happy working independently and as part of a team
