We're looking for a dedicated and driven Review and Improvement Officer to join our Involvement and Governance Team and the North Yorkshire Safeguarding Adults Board(NYSAB) Business Unit. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping safeguarding practice across North Yorkshire.

About the Role

In this joint role, you'll support the NYSAB in fulfilling its statutory duties under Section 44 of the Care Act 2014. You'll lead the coordination and project management of Safeguarding Adults Reviews (SARs), ensuring they are timely, high-quality, and that the voices of adults at risk and their families are central to the process.

You'll work closely with a wide range of multi-agency partners to drive learning, influence policy, and embed improvements in safeguarding practice.

* Has strong project management and organisational skills
* Understands safeguarding legislation and adult social care
* Is passionate about continuous improvement and learning
* Can build effective relationships across agencies and sectors
* Is committed to ensuring the voice of the adult is heard and acted upon
* Is a strong communicator, working with a range of stakeholders including Senior employees and also working with individuals and families
