QUALITY ENGINEER - CONSTRUCTION, MANUFACTURING & ENGINEERING FOCUS

We're looking for a Quality Engineer with a background in construction, manufacturing, or engineering to bring their technical expertise and improvement mindset to the Sizewell C Project Delivery Organisation (PDO).
This is your chance to work on a nationally significant initiative with long-term prospects, cutting-edge challenges, and the opportunity to shape quality delivery across a complex engineering programme.
Your Mission:
Working alongside the Quality Lead, you'll help embed robust Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) practices across manufacturing and construction activities. You'll be a key player in ensuring right first-time delivery by:
Supporting daily QA/QC governance activities and managing project quality documentation
Developing and executing process audit plans
Driving continuous improvement and implementing new quality methodologies
Participating in internal audits, reviews, and digital quality tool implementation
Monitoring the deployment of quality standards across stakeholders and locations
Facilitating quality training and awareness across delivery teams
Collaborating with cross-disciplinary project members to resolve quality issuesWhat You Bring:
Essentials:
HNC/HND or higher in a science or engineering discipline
Proven experience in construction, manufacturing, or engineering environments
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality systems
Strong grasp of quality tools, auditing techniques, and data tracking
Ability to manage documentation and digital tools (SharePoint, Outlook, etc.)
Confident communicator with a collaborative mindset
