Main duties
We seek a candidate with deep understanding of workforce systems, service delivery, and experience leading teams and managing large projects within complex organisations. Strong communication, data analysis, and strategic skills are essential.
Accountabilities include
* Optimising the current workforce solution across NHS organisations
* Conducting annual assessments to identify optimisation opportunities aligned with strategic goals
* Maintaining technical and functional knowledge of ESR to influence stakeholders and maximise benefits
* Supporting the development of the Readiness and Implementation team, setting strategic goals and ensuring resource availability
* Delivering support to organisations to overcome barriers and secure leadership buy-in

Job responsibilities
Operational Service Delivery & Optimisation: Lead the optimisation of workforce solutions, plan and execute assessments, and influence stakeholders.
Establishment and management of the Readiness and Implementation Team: Support team development, resource planning, and operational procedures.
Data Insight & Reporting: Ensure data quality, develop reporting frameworks, and support strategic decision-making.
Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, NHS regions, and senior leaders to foster engagement and collaboration.
Developing the capabilities of User Organisations: Support change management frameworks, develop training materials, and advise on resource planning.
Leadership, Governance, and Continuous Improvement: Provide leadership, establish governance standards, and promote process improvement.
Team Leadership and Line Management: Lead and develop the implementation team, set goals, and foster a culture of accountability and innovation.
