A growing construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding infrastructure team based in Chesterfield.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial professional to take a leading role on large-scale infrastructure and capital delivery projects across sectors including energy, utilities, transport and heavy civil engineering.

The role:
Leading commercial management activities across major infrastructure projects
Managing cost reporting, forecasting, budgets and financial performance
Administering NEC contracts and overseeing change management processes
Supporting procurement strategy and contractor engagement
Managing commercial risk and ensuring effective project controls
Acting as a key point of contact for clients and senior stakeholders
Supporting and mentoring junior commercial team members
Requirements:
Experience operating at Senior or Principal Quantity Surveyor level
Strong understanding of NEC forms of contract
Background within infrastructure, civil engineering, utilities or energy projects
Experience working on large-scale capital delivery programmes
Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management capability
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
MRICS qualified or working towards chartership desirable
What’s on offer:
£60,000 – £70,000 salary depending on experience
